GADC COVID-19 PROCEDURES
 

CLEANING PROCEDURES

-The studio will be cleaned before every class.
-All bars will be sanitized between classes.
-All doorknobs will be sanitized between classes.
-All cubbies/shoe-changing area will be sanitized between classes.
-Bathrooms will be sanitized after each use.
 

FACE COVERINGS

-Students will be required to wear masks upon entering/exiting the building. They can remove masks during class time (while social distancing). Students are welcome to wear masks during class if they would like.
-Teachers will wear masks and shield at all times.

CLASS READINESS

-Dance bags should only contain dance shoes.

-Hair MUST be pulled back prior to class.

FOOD/DRINK

-No outside food or drink will be allowed in the studio. We will provide a small disposable cup of water for students during class time.

DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
-Students will be dropped off at the front door with a teacher. Only students will be allowed into the lobby and studio areas.

-Temperatures will be taken upon entering.
-After shoes have been changed, hands will be sanitized.

-The front doors will lock 5 minutes after the class start time and you will not be allowed to enter beyond that time. (If you need to reach us during class, you can text or call Cecelia at 804-908-0965.)
-Family members may use the bathrooms by coming through the back door. If you use the restroom, please notify us via text so we may sanitize.

PICKUP PROCEDURE

-Parents will pick up students in the back-parking lot (on the hair salon side of the studio) after class. Please park in the lot and teachers will bring students to the cars.

CLASS TIME CHANGES
-Classes will be 50 minutes long to allow ample time for sanitizing between classes.

SOCIAL DISTANCING DURING CLASS
-The studio floor will be marked to maintain social distancing guidelines. 

​

COVID PROTOCOL
-If the dancer experiences a fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, sore throat, abdominal pain, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell they cannot return to class until they test negative for COVID 19 or are 14 days from the onset of symptoms and fever free for 72 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications.

-If a dancer tests positive for COVID 19 they will not return to the studio until they are 14 days from the onset of symptoms and fever free without the use of fever-reducing medication for 72 hours.

-If the dancer has traveled internationally or from a location considered high risk for Covid-19 there will be a 14 day wait period before they may return to the studio for in person class.

-If the dancer has been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 they must wait 14 days to return to the studio for in-person class.
